Too Cute! Our new NYC TAXI dog sweater is a take off on New York City's taxies. They are a taxi yellow with the iconic black and white checkered design including headlights. The sweaters are 100% acrylic and come in sizes 6"-16". Machine washable. To determine size, measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
Our number sizes refer to the top line of the dog. The top line is the measurement from the base of the collar to the base of the tail along the back as shown above. So if your dog measures 14", most likely the 14" sweater would fit. However, you do need to take into consideration if the dog has a lot of fluffy hair or is overweight......then you may want to go up a size.

*Always choose your size according to the latest measurement of your Preppy Companion. We suggest rounding up to the next size if your measurement is near or over the maximum range for your companion that has a thick coat, broad chest or in-between size. If your dog usually wears size Small, this does not mean all size Smalls will fit the same, as designers use their own sizing.
